Postseason assignments have been released by the IHSAA.  Perry will be making a trip to Grinnel in the first round on Friday, July 12.  The Bluejays were given the 8 seed, the worse possible, in the 3A Substate 7 pool.  Perry struggled to an 8-14 record at the time of the seeds being released while Grinnel played at a 20-9 clip.  That was good enough for the one seed.

Other first round match ups in the region:  Clarke at Carlisle, Newton at Pella, and Knoxville at Winterset.  If Perry can pull off the upset, they would play the winner of Clarke/Carlisle on July 15.

The Bluejays still have four regular season games remaining.  Next up will be a home contest against Creston tomorrow.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:30P and will air on KDLS.

All Perry postseason games will air on KDLS until they are eliminated.
