Dallas Center – Grimes baseball and softball were both able to get the weekend off from games last weekend, but both are back to work tonight against Pella Christian in Little Hawkeye Conference play.

The baseball team is currrently a top 3 club in 4A with a record of 20-1. The softball team is currently number 7 in 4A and have a record of 16-3. The month of June has been very kind to both clubs as baseball is currently undefeated and softball only has lost once and that was sixteen days ago.

Temperatures in Pella are projected to be warm and windy this evening, with temperatures expected to be in the high 80s to low 90s and wind gusts at 15-20 mph for a good chunk of the game.

Both teams will be playing in a varsity doubleheader at Pella Christian High School with a start time of 5:30. DCG mustang baseball and softball is back tonight as they look to find more wins that way in the month of June.
