The Perry City Council will meet on Monday to discuss a resolution for corporate bonds.

The council will review a resolution to set the date for the sale of the General Obligation Corporate Purpose Bonds Series 2024 and authorize the use of a preliminary official statement. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include pay applications for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements, the 2024 HMA Street Repairs, the Willis Avenue Overlay project, and the runway 14/32 relocation phase one at the Perry Municipal Airport.

Additional items on the agenda features a resolution setting salaries for employees of the City of Perry for fiscal year 2025, authorizing the donation of unused/outdated equipment, tax abatement applications for residential construction to be completed in 2024, a reimbursement of law enforcement training agreement for the Perry Police Department, a training expenses agreement with the police department, the Future-plan Plan Design and administration proposal for police trust, and setting a public hearing on the proposed zoning amendment from Residential Multi-Family District to Residential Duplex District. 

The meeting is taking place Monday at 6pm in the Towncraft Building, 1122 Willis Avenue, in Perry.
