The Jayettes played two games yesterday in Roland as part of the Kiwanis Tournament.  The competition is fierce in the 11 team field.  Perry had to face the 4th ranked 3A team, Mount Vernon, and 9th ranked 4A team ADM.  The Jayettes fell in both contests.  They now sit at 5-10.  Mount Vernon won 9-6 and ADM took the contest 10-0.

Perry has now lost three straight and return to action this afternoon for day 2 of the Kiwanis Tournament in Roland.  The Jayettes will play Benton at 3P and Gilbert at 5:30P.  Both of today’s opponents are ranked in the top 15 in the polls.
