The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team was able to fend off Carroll in Adel after a couple of late runs tightened the game Thursday evening.

The ADM Tigers saw their lead bloom to 6-2 going to the top of the seventh inning before Carroll was able to put a couple of runners on base then score two of them to crawl closer, trailing 6-4, but ADM’s Jaxson Book kept his composure on the mound to get the final two outs to end the game.
Carroll had six hits and two errors in the game, with ADM ended up with eight hits and three errors. Carroll falls to 4-10 overall (0-9 inside the Raccoon River Conference) while ADM improves to 11-10 overall (6-4 RRC).
