Churdan Day is today and there’s lots going on in the small Greene County town.
Co-organizer Libby Towers says the morning activities include the 5K Fun Run/Walk, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, along with the parade starting at 10am and the vendors will be open from 10am-1pm. Then there is lunch with a fundraiser meal of a pulled pork sandwich, chips and a drink, while enjoying music from the Town and Country Band from 11am-1pm. The car, tractor, and semi show takes place from 11am-2pm and there are free inflatables and other kids activities from 11am-3pm.
The evening entertainment is the Shuffle Couple playing a street dance with the Firemen’s Beer Garden for individuals 21 and older from 8-11pm. All festivities can be found by clicking here.
