Greene County youth are reminded of an important deadline coming up ahead of next month’s Greene County Fair.

Greene County Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Samantha Hardaway says June 17th is when two deadlines are happening, with the first one on stalling animals at the fairgrounds.

“So this is for anybody (including) 4-H’ers, FFA members, and Clover Kids bringing any type of animal to the Greene County Fair, you must fill out the stalling form. These are available at our office or on our website. Again, these are due June 17th with payment.” 

Hardaway adds the other deadline is for Clover Kids that are exhibiting any animals at the county fair, they must have their entry sheets filled out and submitted at the Greene County Extension Office in Jefferson by June 17th. 

The 2024 Greene County Fair is July 9th-15th.
