This is the mid-season point for Greene County High School baseball and softball. It’s also the time of year Ram athletes have strength and conditioning workouts as well as football players getting on the field and learning the playbook.

Caden Duncan is Greene County’s strength & conditioning coordinator and head football coach. The Rams were 3-5 in 2023, their first losing season in six years, and injuries played a big part of that. A number of seniors graduated, and the coach says there are starting spots available. “Our slogan with the boys this year is ‘Reset their standard.’ There’s competition everywhere. Anyone who wants to come in and be a hard worker, and obviously that’s part of our offseason too, who’s putting in the time. Those are the guys that are going to get the first shot at those positions now. We have lots of competition.”
