Accident in the 1000 blk of Graceland Ave
Veh 1/gry 2027 Chevy Silverado pk driven by Mcnamara, Lanny Hiriam of 2289 C Ave. Perry, IA,
Veh 2/Red 2013 Nissan Rogue driven by Herrera, Karla of 2097 B Ave Perry, IA.
Unit 1 was traveling north bound on 1st Ave and attempted to pass unit 2 while in the passing lane and while doing so unit 2 attempted to turn and drove into unit 1 causing major right side damage to his truck. Unit 2 stated she was traveling north bound on 1st Ave. As she attempted to turn, while activating her turn signal as she states, unit 1 was attempting to pass her and she drove into him causing major left front end damage to her SUV.
Both drivers were provided an driver exchange report and pictures were taken. Shall be further stated a neighbor advised me she recorded a juvenile male taking out bottles of alcohol from unit 2’s vehicle and ran off with them. While speaking to unit 2 there were no signs of her being impaired. Total damage to both vehicles aprox $5,000 each.

Arrest/Bridges, Behenzin Nucord Age/38 Adr/2939 Kading Rd. Charged with Dallas County Warrant for Driving Under Suspension
Report of Domestic Disturbance in the 2900 blk of Kading Rd. Both parties agreed to separate for the night, no assault.
Accident at 18th and Willis Ave. Veh 1/Blk 2011 Honda Plt Driven by Jeancilorme, Jeantilus of 1215 18th St Apt 6. Perry, IA. Damage $1000.
Veh 2/ Silver 2012 Chry Tow Vn driven by Medina Huerta, Nereyda of 2190 Eagle Ave Perry, IA.
Unit was traveling west bound on Willis Ave then proceeded to turn left, heading north on 18th St. Unit 1 then stated that Unit 2 was half way into the intersection and that’s when he struck Unit 2. Unit 1 stated that was traveling the speed limit when making the turn. Officer Guhse gathered Unit 1’s information. I then spoke with Unit 2. Unit 2 advised she came to a full stop at the stop sign and slightly pulled ahead to see around the building located on the east side of 18th St. Unit 2 then stated that she
was not in the intersection and did make a full stop and that’s when Unit 1 took a wide turn and struck her vehicle.
Based on the location of the vehicles and the location of the damages, I determined that Unit 1 was at fault. The damage to Unit 1 consisted of front driver side bumper damage. The damage to Unit 2 consisted of a large scrape and dents to the driver side middle panel and rear panel of the van. The approximate damage to Unit 1 is roughly 1,000$ and Unit 2’s approximate damage is 1,500$. Unit 1 was given a citation for failure to maintain control of vehicle.
Report of harassment reported at the station from the 1800 blk of Pattee St. No charges filed, advised to block communication with each other.
Report of harassment from a male in Des Moines, Officer responded and spoke with her. Case under investigation.
Report of Fraud taken from the 2500 blk of Willis Ave. Requested information be documented.

Report of Harassment made from the 2900 blk of Kading Rd, threats of assault and property damage. made.’ Officers responded, calmed situation down, arrangements were made for property exchange.

Arrest/Jean Baptiste, Pierre Rubens Age/28 Adr/3309 Mckinley St Apt 204. Charged with Driving Under Suspension.
It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
