Perry traveled to Jewell last night and left with a loss to South Hamilton, 6-5.  The Bluejays struck first with one in the top of the first.  South Hamilton answered immediately with four of their own.  Perry would cut the lead to one after the second and it would stay that way until the fifth.  The Hawks added two insurance runs in the bottom of the fifth.  Those were huge runs as Perry scored two in the seventh, but it wasn’t enough in the 6-5 final.

The Perry offense had 11 hits including three from Myers.  Levan took the loss.  He went 6 innings, giving up 6 earned runs, and finishing with 6 K’s.

Quick turnaround for the now 6-10 Bluejays, who will be in Boone tonight for a 7P first pitch.  KDLS will have the broadcast of tonight’s game.
