The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team seems to have found its rhythm as they will return home for a game tonight inside the Raccoon River Conference (RRC).

The Tigers are winners of their last five games defeating Algona, Bondurant-Farrar, Winterset, Carlisle, and Gilbert. In those five games, ADM has managed to outscore their opponents 44-15, including two games where they’ve scored 10 or more runs. ADM Head Coach Jason Book credits the ability of his players to capitalize on the opportunities to score when runners are on base.

“We’ve done a much better job of taking advantage of our opportunities and when we get guys in scoring position, the big emphasis is to get the ball in play and trying to find a way to score them. So, we’re looking to keep carrying that and keep getting better every week.”

The Tigers had yesterday off and will be hosting the Boone Toreadors tonight at 7pm in Adel. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 6:45pm.
