Round two between South Hamilton and Perry will be this evening in Jewell.  The first match up between these two Heat of Iowa Conference foes went the way of Perry, 7-1.  Myers was excellent in that contest going all seven and striking out nine.  He also had three hits to help out his own cause.  I’d expect someone else to take the rubber tonight.  Myers pitched in Monday’s loss to Roland-Story.  Levan would be a likely candidate to get the ball first at 7:30P tonight in Jewell.

Perry needs a win to get back to .500 in the HOIC.  They currently sit at 6-9 and 4-5.  South Hamilton lost to Greene County on Monday, 12-4.  They have struggled in conference play with a record of 1-6 and 3-8 overall.
