An event will be happening revolving around owls with the Dallas County Conservation Board Thursday.

The conservation board is inviting the public to their “Observing Owls” program Thursday morning at Voas Nature Area, in Minburn. According to the organization, this event will be apart of the Summer Wildlife Series and gives an opportunity to learn about Iowa’s owls, their communication calls, plus meet the Barred Owl Education Ambassador. Thursday’s program will be held from 9-10am and is free to anyone interested.
