The Bluejays ended the week with a loss to Martensdale-St Mary’s on Saturday, 7-6.  Perry wrapped up a five game week 2-3.  Perry would have to use 8 pitchers last week, including 3 guys making their varsity debut.  Two of those in the game against the Blue Devils.  Iben got the start Saturday.  He went 5 innings, striking out 4, and giving up 4 earned runs.  Myers had 3 hits, two of which were triples.  Both teams scored two in the first.  Perry added two more in the second and led 4-2 until the sixth.  St Mary’s scored 5 in the final two innings for the 7-6 win.

Bluejays return to the field tonight in Story City as they take on the Norsemen.  First pitch scheduled for 7:30P.
