The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team is finding a rhythm as they have now won their last four games, getting to .500 on the season.

The Tigers are currently 9-9 overall (4-3 inside the Raccoon River Conference) following the last four wins. ADM shut out Algona 4-0 in the Boone Invitational last Saturday (June 1st). They faced Bondurant-Farrar on Monday where the game was won in the eighth inning thanks to a walkoff single from Junior Grant Jansen. The Tigers were off on Tuesday then on the road against Winterset Wednesday where the bats came alive for ADM as they beat the Huskies 18-1 in four innings, scoring all 18 runs in the third inning.

The final game of the week was back in Adel where the Carlisle Wildcats were in town on Thursday. Carlisle led twice in the game, including 3-1 before ADM would score seven unanswered to lead 8-3. However, the Wildcats didn’t quit and battled back to cut it to one (trailing 8-7), but great pitching from ADM’s Reed Ausdemore helped preserve the win for the Tigers.

ADM has five games this week as they will be on the road in Gilbert tomorrow, at Boone on Wednesday (game broadcast on K107.9), hosting Carroll on Thursday, and will be playing two games in Glenwood on Saturday.
