American Red Cross in Greenfield

June 7 - 9

An American Red Cross Resource Center will be open 11 A.M. until 7 P.M. through Friday, June 7 and 10 A.M. until 6 P.M. on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 at Nodaway Valley Community Elementary School, 324 NW 2nd Street in Greenfield, Iowa.
The Red Cross continues to help families and communities recover in the weeks following the May 21 tornado that affected Greenfield and nearby areas. Red Cross recovery workers will be at the school to provide individual assistance for displaced individuals and families. Those impacted by the tornado can speak with a volunteer registered nurse, mental health worker or spiritual health volunteer about any physical, mental or spiritual health concerns.
Cleaning supplies are available at the Resource Center at no cost to those affected by the recent tornado. Those supplies include plastic tubs, rakes, gloves and large trash bags. Everyone is welcome at the Red Cross Resource Center, even if you only need snacks, a meal or a friendly conversation.
If you have been impacted by the recent storms and need help, you can also call 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767). Download the free Red Cross Emergency App for the latest information on Resource Centers available in your community.
