A Celebration of Life Service for Hazel Monthei, 95, of Jefferson, IA will be 10:30 am Thursday, June6, 2024 at Central Christian Church in Jefferson.  A private family burial will take place later at Wright Cemetery, Greene County, Iowa.  A visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.  Memorials are suggested to the Central Christian Church, Jefferson Animal Shelter, or The ARC of Greene County.  Online condolences may be left at www.sliningerschroeder.com.

Hazel is survived by her four children:  Debby Monthei, Randy Monthei, Sharon Monthei, and Fred Monthie; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
