The Perry Chamber’s Annual Grocery Bill Roundup recently wrapped up and a representative from HyVee praises people who donated.

The event is part of the chamber’s program to raise money towards the annual fireworks drive for the 4th of July. According to Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, customers were able to contribute by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar at either the Fareway or HyVee stores in Perry. HyVee Store Event Coordinator Larry Vodenik is appreciative of all those that went the extra mile.

“I want to thank everybody that took part. You supported our community and it’s really good to see that, in particular with everything that’s been going on in Perry this year.”
