Early voting continues before the primary election on June 4th, and Greene County residents who would like to cast their ballots ahead of that day can do so today.

The Greene County Auditor’s Office is open today from 7am-3pm for early voting. The June Primary allows eligible voters to cast one ballot for the Republican, Democratic, or Libertarian Parties. Only the candidates from that political party will appear on the ballot. Greene County Auditor Billie Jo Hoskins says that as of Friday morning 109 people have already voted.

Voters are reminded to bring proof of identification in order to receive a ballot. Those individuals who are not pre-registered in their current voting precinct, individuals who are registering to vote on Election Day and those who changed their precinct, must also provide proof of residency, along with identification.

On the Primary Election Day, the polls will be open from 7am-8pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the unofficial results later that evening.
