A Perry man has been arrested for allegedly having inappropriate relations with a minor in late March.

According to court documents, 26-year-old Jose Nevarez was accused of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old on March 31st. An interview was done with the victim at UnityPoint Star Center.  Nevarez has been charged with a Class B Felony for second degree sexual abuse, as well as a Class C Felony for lascivious acts with a child. Nevarez is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $30,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
