James Valerie, Grimes, was driving on Hwy 141 at O Ave, when his vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by Angela Hansen-Abbas, Perry.  Mr. Valerie’s car entered the ditch and rolled onto it’s top.  All occupants of the car were taken to the hospital to be evaluated for any injuries.  Mr. Valerie’s car received an estimated $1000 damage.  Ms. Hansen-Abbas’ car received an estimated $10000 damage.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Daniel Monroy, Perry, was traveling in the 27000 block of Hwy 141 when a vehicle driven by Travis Beam, Perry, attempted to pass him and side swiped Mr. Monroy’s car.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at around $1000 per car.  Mr. Beam was cited for Fail To Yield To Passing Vehicle.

A minor driver was driving in the 25000 block of Hwy 141 when the car has a mechanical issue, which forced the driver to lose control and go into the ditch.  The vehicle had an estimated $7500 in damage.  The minor driver declined medical evaluation at the scene.  The vehicle was towed at the owner’s request from the scene.

Trisha Slauson, age 46, 601 Percival Ave, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.

Michael Harrah, age 28, 506 Main St E, Grand Junction, was arrested for 5th Degree Theft.  He was also cited for No Valid Driver’s License, Fraudulent Use Of Registration, Operation Without Registration Card Or Plate and Fail To Display Registration Plate.

Lucas Hughes, age 35, 230 Main St, Carlisle, was arrested for Speeding, Reckless Driving, Operating While Under The Influence, Open Container, Improper Overtaking On The Right and Eluding.

Daniel Corbin, age 27, 1405 Vine St, Dallas Center, was arrested for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked and Operating While Under The Influence.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
