The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team ignited the offense on the way to defeat Harlan.

The Tigers beat the Cyclones 15-2 Thursday evening to improve to 3-0 on the season. ADM had a lead off walk with Aniston Tollari, who was hit in by Cameron Smith. The Tigers would score eight in the opening inning as Smith, Lauren Hagedorn, Kaylee Smith, Kennedy Stanford, Madi James, Ellis Smith, and Olivia Wyant.
ADM added one in the third thanks to a triple from Kaylee Smith, who finished 2-2. K. Smith also got a triple in the fourth with two outs, which led to six more runs in the inning. ADM’s Aleah Johnson garnered a Grand Slam to bring in James, E. Smith, and Wyant for 15 runs.
Harlan scored two in the bottom of the first from Suzy Kenkel and a home run from Taylor Heese. Cyclone starting pitcher Camryn Goshorn pitched half an inning allowing two hits, four runs, walked two batters with one strikeout. Lauren Schmitz pitched three and a half innings, allowed five hits, 11 runs, walked one, and completed one strikeout.
For ADM, Cameron Smith pitched all four innings allowing three hits, two runs, and two strikeouts. The Tigers are now 3-0 on the season as they will on Saturday against Ankeny at 10am. Harlan falls to 0-2 overall and will play versus Hinton at MVAOCOU High School on Saturday at 11:45am.
