Playoff soccer continues tonight for the Bluejays.  Humboldt comes to Dewey Field for the Substate 7 Championship match.  Coach Overla and the Bluejays are treating it just like another game.  “Play the game.  Don’t make the game a bigger event than it is.  I think at this point they don’t need to be told.  They know what the consequences are and everything.”

Humboldt comes in with just one blemish.  The Wildcats are 13-1 and just beat Greene County Monday night 2-1.  Cristhian Ramirez leads this team with 25 goals.  He’s the guy Coach Overla is worried about.  ” He’s got quite a few goals and assists.  They also have role players scattered throughout the lineup.”  In the final rankings, Humboldt was ranked 8th and Perry 9th.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7P and KDLS will have the broadcast.  Winner advances to the 2A State Quarterfinals that begin next week in Des Moines.
