This weekend there will be fun activities at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds for families to enjoy to celebrate during Memorial Day Weekend.

The Fair Board mentions that with plenty of camping spots available on the south end of the grounds, those interested in attending are encouraged to bring others with them to enjoy the weekend. The festivities begin Friday with a Memorial Day ceremony recognizing veterans at 7pm. Then there will be some Figure Eight Racing beginning at 7:30pm, with karaoke to follow.

On Saturday May 25th, there will be a Power Wheels event for children aged three to six years old at 2pm, with registration for the event to be found at the beer garden. There will also be Memorial Day services planned for 5:30pm, with more Figure Eight Races at 6pm, with the night to be finished with karaoke once again. To finish off the weekend on Sunday May 26th, there will be a bags tournament, with registration at the beer garden beginning at noon, and the event itself to begin at 1:30pm. The Jesse Wilson Band will perform a concert starting at 5:30pm. Food vendors for the event include Deardorff’s, Get R Fried, Hog Wild BBQ and Spartan Pizza.
