It’s postseason time for the Greene County High School girls’ golf team. Coach Heath Telleen’s Rams go to the Nishna Valley Golf Club in Atlantic today for a Class 3A Region 2 tournament. The 12 teams in the 18 hole field include Atlantic, Greene County, Bishop Heelan (Sioux City), Carroll, Creston, Denison-Schlesweig, Gilbert, Glenwood, Harlan, Nevada, Perry, and Sergeant Bluff-Luton.

Coach Telleen told Raccoon Valley Radio the 2024 season has been a fun one with the girls showing great improvement throughout the campaign. The coach is looking forward to seeing how well the Rams can do.

Region 5 covers a large geographic area stretching southeast of Omaha to Sioux City to north and east of Ames, southwest to Creston and everywhere in between.
