The West Central Valley Wildcats boys soccer team keep their season alive and advance to the next round of the post season after traveling to Des Moines Christian to face the PCM Mustangs. The Wildcats scored three goals against the Mustangs, but the first goal wouldn’t come until the 41st minute by Kunkle. The action was back and forth up until then with both defenses protecting the ball well. However, in the 56th minute Wahlert secured another point by penalty kick, then scored a goal in the 77th minute to secure a 3-1 victory for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats will battle against Treynor at Treynor for the Class 1A section 8 semifinals next Monday, May 20th at 7PM.
