Brian Dornsbach, Grimes, was driving on Hwy 44 at U Ave.  He signaled for a turn and was waiting for traffic, when he was struck from behind by Douglas Kinman, Windsor Heights.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Dornsbach’s car was estimated at $1500 and damage to Mr. Kinman’s car was estimated at $5000.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Nathan Herink, age 46, 1215 Monona St, Boone, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Jeff Gwion, age 24, 2845 E 52 St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Sex Offender Violation.

Kyle Lingner, age, 34, 1502 Estella Street, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Violation Of Probation.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
