Perry picked up a soccer win on Monday over Van Meter.  It took extra as the Bluejays pulled off the 3-2 win.  Defense ran supreme in the first half as the two clubs played to a 0-0 tie.  Both teams would find the back of the net twice in the second half.  Omar Jaimes accounted for two goals and Jonathan Banuelos added one.  The Bluejays move to 9-4 with the victory.

The latest polls were released before the game on Monday.  The Bluejays lost their lone game last week to the top team in the polls Gilbert.  The weather canceled the other four contests for Perry.  They now sit at 7 in the 2A polls.  The Bluejays return to action Thursday night for Senior Night and the game will be broadcasted on KDLS at 5:15P.
