Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is preparing for their Mother’s Day event Wednesday.

Program Director Meghan McBride says that they’re holding their Mother/Daughter Flower Arrangement Workshop from 6-8pm at the Extension Office in Guthrie Center. She adds that it’s meant to be a fun way for mothers and daughters to have some fun together, while learning about making floral arrangements. McBride mentions that this is something that they’ve wanted to try, and with the multitude of other gardening and plant workshops they’ve been having and have scheduled, it felt like it fit nicely with the theme they currently have.
