Baseball games for the Rippey Ruckus today have been delayed.

The Rippey Ballpark Commission announced that due to wet field conditions, today’s games have been delayed for a few hours while the field gets worked on. Organizers say they are hoping to get some of the games in later on today.  

The 4th Annual Rippey Ruckus started yesterday with three games. The hometown team, the Rippey Demons, dropped their opening game to the Raptor Cubs 9-1. 

Activities Director Bruce Thome says if there are any games that are played today and tomorrow, there is no admission fee for fans with concession stand items available for purchase, with proceeds to benefit the ongoing maintenance of the field.
