1:09am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 900 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

8:41am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on N Avenue near 250th Street.

10:20am: Christopher Quirk 41 of Ralston was booked into the jail awaiting transport to the Iowa Correctional Classification Center.

10:57am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 600 block of south 15th Street, Grand Junction. Leeroy Steadman 54 of Grand Junction was arrested for an arrest warrant for assault.

11:58am: Leeroy Steadman 54 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for assault.

3:53pm: A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 700 block of H Avenue.

4:46pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on North Elm Street in Jefferson. Nicolas Balderas 61 of Jefferson was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 1st offense.

5:03pm: A deputy assisted with a cow out on 235th Street near Quint Avenue.

6:45pm: Nicolas Balderas 61 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 1st offense.

8:43pm: A deputy investigated an aggressive dog complaint in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

Thursday, May 2nd

10:00am: The Sheriff recovered a stolen firearm that was stolen from Taylor County.

11:24am: A deputy assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with trying to locate a truck that was involved in a theft in Carroll.

5:35pm: A deputy investigated an open 911 call in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
