Perry Food Pantry Manager Lou Hoger discusses some of the items that the pantry is in need of.

Hoger tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the number of customers is increasing at the food pantry, which means additional items are needed to keep food pantry shelves from being bare. He suggests corn, mixed vegetables, canned foods such as pork and beans, kidney beans; as well as one pound bags of rice, any cans of fruits, and even personal hygiene items such as toothpaste and shampoo as items that are in great need at this time.

Hoger states that the Perry Food Pantry is open Tuesdays from 10am-12:30pm and Thursdays 3-6pm and is located right off of 28th Street, north of Willis Avenue, in Perry.
