Officers responded to the 1600 block of 4th St on a report of criminal mischief. Three tires damaged. Incident under investigation.

Arrest: A 14 years of age male from Perry was taken into custody in the 1200 block of 18th St and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 2nd offense.

Arrest: A 15 year of age male from Des Moines was taken into custody in the 1200 block of 18th St., and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 1st offense.

Accident:

Unit 1 white 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee registered to and driven by Morgen Ann Hart, 765 7th Ave., Coon Rapids, IA.

Unit 2 red 2010 Chevy Silverado pick up registered to and driven by Robert Charles Heath, 2788 100th St., Jefferson, IA.

Unit 2 was northbound on 1st Ave at the highway 141 intersection. Unit 1 was westbound on highway 141. Unit 1 failed to see unit 2 and struck the rear passenger side quarter panel of unit 2. Total estimated damages$3150. No citations issued, no injuries.

Accident:

Unit 1 red 2000 Dodge Dakota pick up registered to and operated by Barbara Ann Field, 2617 McKinley, Perry.

Unit 2 white 1996 United States Postal Service mail truck driven by Jeffrey Alexander Fuentes, 1416 Oltey Ave., Perry.

Unit 2 was westbound on Warford in the intersection of 11th St and Warford. Unit 1 was southbound on 11th St. Unit 1 failed to yield at the intersection and struck unit 2. Total estimated damages $2300. Driver of unit 1 cited for failure to obey yield sign. No injuries.

Arrest: Joseph Robert Buchmiller, 214 SW 6th St., Ogden, IA was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
