The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board discussed the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Sheriff’s Office with Sheriff Marty Arganbright. He told them that there is a copy of the current SOP in his office, at the front desk for the Law Enforcement Center, and in the dispatch area, although they are currently working on updating it, and expect to have that finished soon.

The Board also reviewed what items needed to be included in the fiscal year 2024 budget amendment. Some of the additional expenses came from Secondary Roads and County Engineer Josh Sebern mentioning the plows and graders were used for longer hours during the brief stretch of winter. Another expense that was seen across all departments was for fuel, especially with fluctuating prices.
