Dallas Center – Grimes girls golf was on the course on a warm and breezy Monday against great competition at Willow Creek Golf Course in Des Moines, with the Mustangs getting a 12th place finish out of the 17 team field. DCG was able to put up a team score of 404.

Sophomore Joey Moberg was able to put together a terrific day on the course, firing a 86 which was good for 11th place overall. Junior Sydney Miller was able to be the second best score on the team as she was able to grab a 97 for the Mustangs.

Junior Natalie Henson of Marshalltown was able to have the best round with a six stroke victory with a final score of 70. Ames was able to take the win with a team score of 335.

DCG returns to the course tomorrow in Ankeny at Otter Creek Golf Course.
