The Panorama Panther girls track & field team traveled to Van Meter on Monday to compete in the Bill Miller Relays resulting in the Panthers placing 5th overall for the girls with 61 points, only 4 points behind the Des Moines Christian Lions who placed 4th with 65 points.

In the 100 meter dash, senior Jaidyn Sellars continues to dominate on the track placing 1st in the event, running the 100 meter dash in 12.61 seconds and she also placed 1st in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.38 seconds. Junior Arilyan Steenblock placed third in discuss alongside fellow thrower senior Lindy Nelson who placed 8th. The Panthers also competed well in the relays, placing 4th in the 4×400 and 5th in the 4×100 meter relays, helping propel the Panthers into 5th place.

The Panther girls prepare for their next track meet on Thursday as they travel to West Central Valley.
