Friday, April 5th
1:39am: Carlos Castillo reported an Unwanted Female knocking on his door at 204 South High Street. The officer transported the female across town to her vehicle.
3:16am: The Cobblestone reported a Suspicious Subject in a vehicle parked at 771 Wild Rose Lane. The subject left the area.
10:02am: Tyler Rysavy reported a possible No Contact Violation. The officer is investigating.
11:05am: Kim Truong reported a broken window at 402 South Vine Street. It appeared someone had went through items inside, but nothing was missing. The officer believed the window had been shot with a BB gun.
11:16am: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 100 Block of East Lincoln Way resulting in Alejandra Gonzales of Des Moines being cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
4:50pm: The Department of Corrections requested a Welfare Check on a subject staying at 209 East Gallop Road. The officer located the subject and transported him to ER for an evaluation.
7:46pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Stanford Streets resulted in Mason Allbee of Moorland being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
7:59pm: Ava Morales requested a Welfare Check on a subject at 202 South Maple Street. The officer spoke to the subject and transported them to ER to be evaluated.
10:18pm: Michelle Cook reported being Harassed by phone. The officer spoke to the other party involved and advised both subjects to end contact with the other.
Saturday, April 6th
12:20am: Chad Louk reported a Stray Cat at 104 West Wilcox Way.
6:26am: Brian Craft reported cows in the roadway in the 1300 Block of South Elm Street. The owner arrived and took the cattle back to the fenced area.
11:41am: Jeff Niles reported a driver traveling at a high rate of speed on 220th Street, heading west from Grand Junction. A deputy was in the area and handled the call.
2:15pm: An officer located a Stray Dog near Westwood and Rushridge. The officer was unable to catch the animal, as it ran from him.
2:57pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 1800 Doreen Wilbur Drive. The building was searched and all was fine. The officer believed the strong winds had blown the door open.
5:13pm: Shera Anderson requested an officer’s help in getting her vehicle keys from a male subject at 405 North Locust Street. The subject had returned the keys before the officer arrived.
8:36pm: An officer is investigating a report of a Sexual Assault, which occurred at 302 North Maple Street. The investigation continues.
9:34pm: Ashley Elliot reported a Stray Dog in the 1200 Block of South Elm Street. The officer was unable to respond, due to the previous entry.
Sunday, April 7th
12:22am: The Wild Rose Casino requested an officer at 777 Wild Rose Lane for a customer acting aggressively towards staff. The subject had left the area before the officer arrived.
2:17am: An officer performed a Traffic Stop just north of 220th Street on Hwy.4. The vehicle came back as a Stolen Motor Vehicle out of Tx. The female driver gave the officer her name and date of birth, but later admitted it was a false name and provided her real information. The officer arrested Deidra Raedean Sheets, 60 of Gowrie for, “Operation without Owner’s Consent – Aggravated, Providing False Information – Simple, and Fail to Have a Valid DL.”
10:43am: Tony Pille requested a Welfare Check on a female in the 100 Block of South Olive Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who advised she was fine.
4:26pm: A caller reported several gunshots coming from Daubendiek Park. The officer determined the gunfire was well outside of the city and passed the information to a deputy.
4:37pm: Andrew Gettler reported finding two deceased cats near the brush pile at Daubendiek Park. The officer did not see any apparent signs of injuries and believed someone had dumped them there several weeks ago.
6:35pm: A Traffic Stop near O Ave. resulted in Troy Brobst of Woodwar being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”
7:09pm: A caller advised of a Careless Driver near Grimmell and West State Streets. The officer located the vehicle and spoke with the young driver about the issues.
10:28pm: The GCMC ER requested assistance from an officer in getting a patient into a vehicle. The officer assisted as needed.
10:27pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of West State Street.
