Next Sunday the Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding the first meeting for those looking to show horses.

Starting at 2pm on April 7th, Adair County 4-H and FFA members looking to participate in any horse projects will be able to attend the meeting, and learn more about what to expect for showing at the Adair County Fair and Iowa State Fair. The Extension also has swine tags available for those looking to show swine. ID and DNA tags can be picked up at the Extension Office, with ID tags costing $3, and the DNA tags available for $8. State Fair DNA samples must be submitted to the office by May 9th, so there is still plenty of time to collect them and turn them in.
