The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track & Field teams competed in Earlham on Thursday, with Junior Kennedy Stanford throwing for a new personal record in the Shotput.
Stanford threw 39-10.50, as that is a new personal best for her. Other great performances include ADM’s Griffin Messer (5:18) and Max Marple (5:26) placing in the top 10 for the boys 1600 meter, Brayden Davison ran a 2:18 in the boys 800 meter, Zach Lohmann finished in second (56.43) in the boys 400 and Reid Kluesner was eighth. Lohmann was also second in the boys 110 meter hurdles and Luke Krantz placed fifth. ADM’s Brevin Doll won the boys 200 meters at 22.52 and Carter Padget captured a sixth place finish. Parker Hook and Davison went two-three in the 400 meters, Doll won the boys 100 meters at 10.95, and Lohmann finished third (11.43). Kluesner and Leyton Gerleman were second and fifth in the long jump and Devin Gelhaar (120-09) and Nick Subbert (120-06) were top five in the boys discus throw.
The Tiger teams are setting up to host a coed meet at ADM High School on Tuesday, beginning at 4:30pm.
