A Bagley woman was sentenced to prison in Dallas County for a February 2023 incident.

According to court documents, 38-year-old Jacqueline Richardson pled guilty to a Class C Felony for possession with the intent to deliver less than five grams of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to two years of probation with the Iowa Department of Correctional Services.

The charge stemmed from an incident on February 15th. A Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped Richardson’s vehicle for an equipment violation. Court documents show that the deputy discovered 14 grams of methamphetamine inside Richardson’s vehicle, which she admitted to delivering. 

As per the plea agreement, the additional charge of a Class D Felony for failure to affix a drug tax stamp was dismissed.
