With spring now in effect and with the combination of Severe Weather Awareness Week, the National Weather Service is hosting Storm Spotting Training sessions around the state with one happening in Dallas County tomorrow.

The session for Dallas County will be at the Dallas County Human Service Campus, 25747 N Ave, in Adel at 7pm tomorrow. According to the National Weather Service, the course will uncover the understanding of mesoscale and storm-scale meteorology pertaining to storm spotting.

The program will be one hour to one hour and a half in length and is open to the public. The National Weather Service notes that there is no registration required to attend and there are options to attend in person or virtually.
