James Schoenherr, Glidden, was traveling in the 23000 block of 360th Street pulling a piece of farm equipment, when the equipment he was pulling hit the bridge guard rail, causing damage.  There were no injuries reported and damage was estimated to the farm equipment at $4000.  Damage to the bridge was estimated at $3500.

March 22

Daniel Pottorff, age 67, 516 S. Fremont St, Stuart, was arrested on a warrant for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Dennis Maddison, age 28, 1405 Fairview Drive, Dallas Center, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.

Natasha Pershin, Ankeny, was traveling on I80 near the 111 mile marker.  She was traveling in the left lane and Michael Wityk, Adel was traveling in the right lane.  During the lane shift in a construction zone, Ms. Pershin’s car came into contact with Mr. Wityk’s car, causing minor cosmetic damage to both vehicles.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $500 to each car.  Both driver’s were able to drive their cars from the scene.

March 23

Carlos Perez, age 52, 2801 1st Ave, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Under Suspension.

Jason Miner, age 50, 1400 S. 52nd St, West Des Moines, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence. He was also cited for Speeding In A Work Zone and Reckless Driving.

Michael Schaefer, age 31,  1803 Oak Ave, Guthrie Center, was arrested for Driving While Barred and Operate Without Interlock.

March 24

Jason Bryan, age 55, address unknown, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Criminal Mischief 4th Degree.

 A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
