The scheduled season opening boys’ golf meet for the Greene County Rams vs, Webster City was postponed due to weather on Monday, so Coach Kyle Kinne’s team expects to begin the season this Friday. The Rams play in an 18-hole tournament hosted by Saydel (Des Moines) at Woodland Hills Golf Course. The team held Media Day last Friday and the coach told Raccoon Valley Radio he has a mostly veteran varsity squad. “Seniors Nathan Behne and Jack Hansen return, along with sophomore Nathan Towers, and others that have varsity experience. Nathan Behne was a Class 3A District qualifier last year and Jack led us throughout the regular season. Nathan Towers had a really good freshman season.”

The home opener for the Rams is set for Monday, April 1 vs. Carroll High at Jefferson Community Golf Course in a nine hole meet.
