Dewey Field will play host to the opening game of the soccer season tonight for the Jayettes.  Perry welcomes Des Moines Christian to town for a 7PM start time.  These two schools have clashed 8 times in the history of the programs.  The Lions have won the last 5 including the last two games by a combined score of 21-0.  “Last year we walked away with our heads held up really high.”  Coach Schatzberg realizes they won’t win every game.  “It’s about growth.  For us when we have these tough games early in the season we are looking for wins that may or may not be on the scoreboard.”
