This Saturday one of the most popular and shortest events is happening in Jefferson to highlight the Easter holiday.
The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department and the Jefferson Kiwanis Club are hosting the Easter Egg Hunt at the Greene County Community Center on Saturday with registrations starting at 3:30pm and the hunt to begin at 4pm. JPRD Assistant Director Nathan Kral says there are three age groups, including newborns to toddlers, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, and first through third graders. Kral describes his favorite part of this event.
“I like to get them all lined up at the start and to see them take off right away at the beginning. It’s fun to watch them go after all those eggs.”
Kral adds that every child is guaranteed to get at least one egg. While the hunt is free, pre-registration is strongly encouraged by clicking the link below or by stopping by the community center to sign up.
