The announcement of Tyson Foods shutting down in June was a shock to the Perry community, but the first of a series of job fairs is coming up next month.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti previously told Raccoon Valley Radio that the Chamber was in collaboration with the City to set up a series of job fairs in the coming months to aid Tyson employees. The City of Perry reports that the first job fair will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd at Hotel Pattee from 3-6pm. 

The City explains that businesses wishing to participate in the job fairs need to fill out a form. Applicants are invited to submit openings by visiting the Perry Chamber website or contacting Pasutti.
