With the first official day of spring tomorrow, the Dallas County Conservation Board will soak it in with an event to coincide.
The conservation board will have a spring equinox celebration tomorrow evening at Hanging Rock Park in Redfield. Conservation Outreach Coordinator Sarah McKeever notes that they always have the equinox celebration every quarter. She outlines more details about the event.
“This is just a time to gather, to join with your community and really just sit back and observe the changing of the seasons. We’ll discuss the significance of the astronomical clock there at Hanging Rock if you’ve ever seen those circle of stones at the park there.”
Again, the first official day of spring is tomorrow with the event taking place from 7-8pm at Hanging Rock Park, 416 Redfield Street, in Redfield.
