The Panora Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for some events in the coming months.
Chamber Coordinator Erica Matthies says that the most immediate one is the community Easter Egg Hunt at the end of the month, which will be held at the Historic Village and Museum. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the next big event is still some time away, but helps pave the way for more future events.
“And then on May 5th, which is Cinco de Mayo, we are having ‘Mulligans and Margaritas’ for our annual golf fundraiser. We use a lot of those funds in order to facilitate and keep Panorama Days free for the community. And that’s just a good outreach program for us to be involved with the community and try to give back.”
Matthies explains that the Chamber is also doing some work on their website to update it and getting some new Chamber Bucks programs going. She adds that they are also reworking some stuff with their membership packages, and looking at ways to better help local businesses.
