The Panorama School Board met in regular session on Monday night.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the Board discussed some outdoor class days that the elementary had the opportunity to enjoy, renewed their natural gas pool, approved an amendment to the 2023-24 master calendar to add four snow make-up days. He added that they also approved the 2024-25 master calendar, set a public hearing to propose a tax notice for April 8th and discussed a budget adoption notice before going over a five year Physical Plant and Equipment Levy budget.
“We went ahead and approved a budget for our PPEL fund, which is a fund that funds a lot of facility needs. And so we’re looking at different signage around the buildings just to be able to easily navigate. Looking at our CTE Program, Mr. Hammeister is going to start a project. He’s going to be purchasing a new laser table.”
Huebner mentions that the table will be used to cut out metal pieces, and that ag classes and FFA members will be able to use it. He adds that the Board also approved the second reading of the 700 series of Board policies, which pertains to school nutrition programs.
