A Stuart man is facing multiple drug related felonies.
According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, 52 year old Bobby Agan was arrested when a Stuart Police Officer assisted the Cass County Sheriff’s Office with executing a search warrant of Agan’s residence on March 8th. During the search, the officer allegedly found drug paraphernalia. A small bag that tested positive for methamphetamine was also found, along with four white pills later identified as a schedule four controlled substance which is only available by prescription. A small bag was also found in Agan’s garage that contained a mushroom-like plant.
Court documents show that multiple rounds of ammunition ranging from 12 gauge to .22 caliber were also found, though no firearms were located. Agan is a convicted felon, and not allowed to possess ammunition or firearms due to that fact, and that there are multiple protection orders filed against him.
Agan was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense for methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance 1st offense for marijuana, and dominion/control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a domestic abuser/felon, all Class D Felonies. He also faces charges for unlawful possession of a prescription drug, a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the Adair County Jail.
